Resolve Group and GreenRide (www.greenride.com) are pleased to offer internet based secure ride sharing services to the 2008 Trafinz conference.

GreenRide is a Web-based application that promotes the use of alternative transportation within your community. By encouraging people to leave their cars at home, we help preserve air quality, decrease traffic congestion, conserve fuel and promote better health.  GreenRide helps you find appropriate ride share partners by searching for other people who live near you and have similar schedules and lifestyle preferences. You make contact using secure facilities to arrange to share your ride.

We believe the most likely users of the service would be
- those flying into the conference who could organise travel from the airport to the venue
- those driving from out of town - will probably be people from South Island
- those living in Christchurch/Canterbury who would be making a daily trip to the conference.

There will be two environmentally suitable prizes to be drawn on each day of the conference to people who have registered to ride share. The first prize will be for all those who registered before the conference, the second day prize would be for all people who have registered, giving those who register during the conference the opportunity to enter the draw.
