2023 Winners

Presented at the Trafinz Conference dinner on 7 September
at the Maritime Room, Viaduct Harbour, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

The Trafinz awards recognise those organisations, individuals or communities that have made an outstanding contribution and have demonstrated leadership in transportation safety and sustainability in NZ. There are awards for:

  • Road safety leadership

  • Sustainable transport leadership

  • and Highly Commended certificates are also presented.

Each submission is required to demonstrate extremely high levels of their:

  • Leadership

  • Level of innovation

  • Sound research and technical basis

  • Extent of benefits achieved and to whom

  • Community engagement

  • Ability to be adopted and applied more widely throughout NZ

This year five awards were made at the annual conference dinner.
